| Descrizione: | The Master’s in Peacekeeping Management (First Level) is a post-graduate degree offered by the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Turin. The Master lasts 1 academic year and aims at those who intend to acquire or further develop specific skills in diverse areas of Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding operations.
The Master’s Programme consists in 3 Modules divided into 9 core subjects.
Module I - The International Community and its context
Module II - From conflict prevention to peacebuilding
Module III - Security and cooperation in the field
The Master also offers a Career Guidance Course.
The final part of the Course involves the planning and writing of a Final Paper and allows students to apply the knowledge gained during the Master to a case study.

| Modalità iscrizione: | There are 25 places available on the Master's Course in Peacekeeping Management for which candidates undergo a selection process. A further 5 places are reserved for the Italian Armed and Police Forces as per ongoing agreements and conventions.
Candidates should have one of the following qualifications:
• Italian First level Degree (3 year University Degree)
• BA or equivalent 3 year University Degree
• A Post Graduate Degree
• An Italian Laurea previous to the reform under DM 509/1999
Applications will also be accepted from students who expect to graduate from Italian universities in the Fall 2009 session.
The selection process is organised during the month of October. Applications are screened and shortlisted candidates are invited to attend a motivational phone interview.
The closing date for Applications is 30th September 2009.
Applications received past the deadline will not be considered.
